A Protest is a Poem is an incredibly special edition of 4 unique paintings by artist Lukaza Branfman-Verissimo. As a unified whole their text connects the four paintings in a swath of layers reading A PROTEST IS A POEM, but individually each 6" x 6" painting is a beautiful poem in itself. We think this series is a fitting metaphor for how we show up in direct action—we're all an important part of the movement, and there is power in the collective! We are deeply honored to Lukaza's work at Cræfta.
