Jon lives on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people in what is currently known as the Hudson Valley. They found their way to woodcarving through slowing down and exploring more direct and intuitive ways of making. They are currently carving a variety of functional items for the home. Their work develops through repetition, cycles, and mistakes. With gratitude, they co-create with makers past and present and the more-than-human-world.
